PRACTICE PROFILE After countless hours of thought, planning, and design, saluté dental began providing innovative dental care for its family, friends, and community on April 14th, 2003. Founded by Dr. Julia Garofalo, the saluté dental vision was inspired by patients, dentists, architects, and designers who had a ground-breaking desire to change the dental care experience. BEHIND THE NAME Dr. Garofalo grew up on the east side of St. Paul. With a family-oriented Italian father and a caring and nurturing mother, a strong family culture and compassionate spirit is inherent to Dr. Garofalo and her practice. In English, the word “salute” (sa loot) is used to address someone with expressions of kind wishes. In Italian, “salute” (sa loo tay) is commonly expressed during a toast and means “to your good health.” Saluté dental provides a place where people feel welcomed and relaxed while receiving comprehensive and unparalleled dental care. The name defines the practice’s mission to break dental stereotypes.
