The first Hmong refugees like Khamphiou Vang, a Woodbury resident, and his brothers Leng Wong and Tong Vang who stepped off the plane from Laos in 1976 find it hard to believe that 30 years had already passed.
The trio, now U.S. Citizens, proudly recall how they laid out the foundations for the next generations in the recent event at St. Paul church -- the organization that first sponsored them in the United States.
